Image background removal
Remove the backgroundfrom an image.
Upload an image and get the subject back on a transparent background.
To remove the background from an image, upload it to faktry's background removal tool and run it. The model finds the subject and returns a cutout with a transparent background, which you can place on any colour, scene or layout. It costs 2 credits per image, and you can choose between three models.
Upload, run, download.
No selection tools and no brush. The model finds the edge for you.
- 01
Upload your image
Use the original file for the cleanest edges. Free accounts upload files up to 10 MB, and paid tiers allow more.
- 02
Pick a model
Pixelcut is the default and is built for product and e-commerce images. Ideogram and Bria are the alternatives if the edge is not right, for example around hair or glass.
- 03
Run it
Every model costs 2 credits, and the run button shows the cost before you start.
- 04
Download or keep going
The cutout is saved to your library with its transparency. From the result you can go straight on to edit it, resize it, add a watermark or convert it to another format.
What you control.
There is little to set. The choice that matters is the model.
- Model
- Pixelcut, Ideogram or Bria RMBG 2.0. They find edges slightly differently, so try a second one when a cutout is not clean.
- Transparent result
- The subject comes back on a transparent background. Formats that support transparency, such as PNG and WebP, keep it. Use the convert tool if you need a specific one.
- Price
- 2 credits per image, the same for all three models.
