Yes. SeedVR can target 2160p, which is 4K UHD, and the Topaz models go up to 4x. Topaz Creative is aimed at AI-generated images, since it reimagines detail instead of reconstructing it.

How much does it cost?

The price follows the size of the result, in megapixels, and is rounded up to a whole credit. With SeedVR an output of up to 20 megapixels costs 1 credit. Other models cost more per megapixel. The exact cost for your image and settings shows before you run.

What is the difference between upscaling and resizing?

Resizing only changes the pixel dimensions, so an enlarged image looks soft. Upscaling with AI adds new detail while it enlarges, which is why the result looks sharper.

Will the upscaled image look different from the original?

Precision aims to keep what is in the photo. Generative and Creative invent detail, so they can change textures and small features. If the result drifts from the original, run it again with Precision.

Can it fix a blurry photo?

It can make a low-resolution or soft image look sharper. It cannot bring back a subject that was badly out of focus or lost to motion blur, because the detail was never captured.

Can I use the upscaled images commercially?

Commercial use of generated content is covered by our Terms and the policies of the model provider. Check both before you publish, and make sure you have the rights to the image you upload.

Precision keeps the detail that is really in a photo. Generative rebuilds detail that is missing in a very small source. Creative reimagines detail, which suits AI art. SeedVR is the budget option and can go to large factors or a target resolution.

Set an upscale factor, or with SeedVR a target resolution of 720p, 1080p, 1440p or 2160p. A larger result costs more because the price follows its size.

What you control.

A few settings decide how the result looks and what it costs.

Upscale factor: Up to 4x with the Topaz models and up to 10x with SeedVR. 2x is the default.
Target resolution: With SeedVR you can ask for 720p, 1080p, 1440p or 2160p (4K UHD) instead of a factor, which is easier when you know the size a platform or printer wants.
Model: Topaz Precision, Topaz Generative (the default), Topaz Creative, Recraft Creative and SeedVR. Each one is priced differently, and the tool shows the cost for the one you pick.
Face, sharpness and noise: Topaz Precision and Generative can enhance faces. Precision also has sharpen, denoise and fix-compression settings.
Output format: JPEG or PNG with the Topaz models. PNG, JPG or WebP with SeedVR.
Price: Per output megapixel, rounded up to a whole credit. A 1024 x 1024 image enlarged 4x is a 4096 x 4096 result: 1 credit with SeedVR and 3 credits with Topaz Precision. Recraft Creative is a flat 8 credits.
